We reported a few weeks ago that Adobe had discovered some critical vulnerabilities in Acrobat and Reader caused by malformed JavaScript in PDF files. This would cause the application to crash and then potentially allow an attacker to gain control of the system.

The update file is rather large, but this is a critical fix and Adobe recommends downloading it immediately. Check out the Adobe Security Bulletin for download links and complete information.
