Linux Ads – Not a Mac or a PC and That’s the Point
The Linux Foundation recently announced the winners of its “We’re Linux” video contest. This contest was designed to create an advertisement for Linux in response to the multitude of Mac and PC ads on television lately. Linux wanted to express the sense of community surrounding the operating system, as well as let people know there is an alternative to Windows or Mac operating systems.
Linux received over 100 entries from amateurs around the world for this contest. The winners were announced April 9th in San Francisco. I have posted the winner as well as the two runner-up entries below. What do you think?

This video is my favorite. I love at the end when he says, “Hey girls, do you know the difference between an Apple and a Window? There is none!” That is definitely a unique way to look at it.
