When you install a new copy of Windows, it will give you the option to either format your hard drive or keep all of your old files in the windows.old folder. That’s great that you are getting this system running again. I would be a little hesitant to buy Windows XP from many sellers on eBay. There are definitely trusted and reputable software sellers there, but you have to do your research to find the genuine ones. The counterfeit software market is large and it’s easy to get scammed, especially on eBay. I’m looking to get my old IBM think pad T22 Type 2647 working, it’s all stock but it work’s! I’m looking for a cheap Windows XP Pro.sp2 oper.syst. how good are the Ebay sold syst?
