Kaspersky Internet Security is a “Real World” Leader
Recently tested in real-life conditions against the latest malware, Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 ranked within the top 3 of 12 products tested. Conducted with the latest malware implemented using custom methodology developed for this particular test, the German laboratory fired away at 12 popular Internet security products. According to Kaspersky.com, “Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 achieved a high score in the Real World test, coming second in the ‘Malware Detection’ category and third in the ‘Malware Block’ category and recording very few false positives.”
Not too long before that, AV-Comparatives announced that Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 came in first among their test for IT threats. In this November study, 15 of the most popular products were “tested dynamically to assess how effectively they protect computers against malware in real time.” Kaspersky’s success in this test gave Internet Security 2010 a “Advanced+” rating. But Kaspersky is keeping it humble. Alexander Gostev, a director at Kaspersky Labs, tells us, “Scoring so highly in this test is especially important as it demonstrates just how effective our technologies are when a protected computer comes into director contact with real threats.”
Did I mention that Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is also a “best buy” according to Computer Shopper?
