Intel to Acquire McAfee

Intel is currently in the process of Acquiring security leader McAfee, Inc. This is a big move for Intel as they shift their software focus to the all-important world of Internet Security. As the number of devices that connect back to the internet increases greatly each year Intel has seen the importance for top of the line security tools. Intel is teaming up with their new Acquisition to tackle the next generation of cyber security. McAfee will remain its own separate company however it will reap the benefits its new parent company. Intel will have access to McAfee’s already in place industry leading security products to better their current infrastructure as well.
