I would argue that FDR was our most techno-savvy U.S. president, because he used the new medium of radio in his weekly "Fireside Chats" to communicate with the American people and explain to them what he was doing to fix the economy, and why he was doing it. If our current President would do the same with TV, his healthcare reform and economic stimulus would have gone over a lot better.

In 1806, Jackson fought a duel with a man named Charles Dickinson, who had insulted Jackson's wife, Rachel. Both men were good shots, and really had it in for each other. Dickinson wounded Jackson in the chest, and Jackson wounded Dickinson in the stomach. Dickinson died, but Jackson survived and was elected President in 1828.

I have Painter 11 and when I want to choose the Sargent Brush in the artists brush category, I received this message: Cannot load variant. The plugin brush associated with this variant is not loaded. And after many attempt I have always this message and eventually the program freeze. What should I do?

I have tried just about all of the antivirus and security suites out there. listed are my favorite 3 and the worst 3. First the worst. 1. F-secure, took almost an hour to install, is not good a catching malware and is a system resource hog. 2. PC tools, does a lousy job overall. 3. Avira is a good antivurus, but i did not like it because you cannot exit the program and it is always running in the background using up memory. Now for the best. 1.Vipre is very good lightweigt and catches about 90% of everything. 2. Bit defender 2012, very good cacthes about 95% of everything, easy to use, 10 to 15 minutes to install. 2 year lecense for 3 PC's. AND THE WINNER IS Norton Internet Security, 2 minutes to install, is very light on resources and memory, easy to use, lots of options to able or inable, catches about 98% of everything. Excellent tech support. 1 year license for 3 pc's. I bought my copy for $20 just after Christmas. retail price $49.99

Love the post. Informative - colorful - well done. Gonna make a post for 2012? The years seem to go by fast, and there has actually already been some great software put out by the companies you discussed this year.
